“God Created Woman Too” is a website dedicated to promoting the importance of women. One thing we do is take women of the Bible and try to bring them to life one chapter at a time. Many people have somehow managed to forget that women are every bit as human as men. Women can be as brave, vibrant and interesting as men. The reason we are focusing on biblical women is because there is a tendency, especially among men, to push women aside, happily relying on a distorted view that God intended men to dominate and control and rule over women. That just isn’t true.
That is not to say that men do not have a real impact on the way things are done. Of course, they do. Men are important. The problem is and has always been that men are applauded and praised for their contributions and victories while women are more or less dismissed with a shrug of the male shoulder. Men can talk all day about how much they respect women and consider women their equal, and may even try to believe it, but let a woman’s opinion differ from the man’s opinion and, whether the guy concedes it or not, he mentally sighs in wonder at how the woman could be so stupid. She must be really naive. Lots of women accept that mentality as just a macho attitude. Worse yet, some women have even become so verbally and physically beaten down that they no longer try to express their ideas and hopes and dreams and needs. We believe that is a horrible way to have to live.
“God Created Woman Too” hopes to help push that kind of mentality out of the way so that the image woman becomes clearly visible. Man was not created more mentally qualified than woman. Traditionally, men have always been taught by men. Men trained other men to govern. Men trained other men in religious matters. We believe that God presented His intent to us without confusion. Confusion is man’s problem, not God’s. It is worth pointing out that God created woman to HELP man. God is brilliant beyond our understanding. He clearly realized early on that man was going to be totally inefficient to accomplish what God had envisioned for humans. God’s opinion of woman? Well, He did not see any need to create a being to help woman handle the role He had for her. That says so much.
The hope of “God Created Woman Too” is to dispel the common manly belief that God designed woman to be a second-class being. Just maybe, some man who reads this might wake up and catch sight of how wonderful his girlfriend or wife or sister or mother really is. The real truth is, many times in the Bible when God needed a few good men to do what He needed to get done, He called forth a woman. We sincerely believe that the relationship between men and women will be enhanced by our efforts. We want the best for all of us.

You can reach out to any legitimate woman’s organization. Women and children’s centers, women crisis centers, women’s help organizations, etc. Simply search online or in your phone book, or Google it.
